Hello!

My name is Abby Cruse. I am a graduate of Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. While there, I obtained a degree in Music Education P-12.

Why did I choose Music Education?

That's a really great question! Growing up, I never knew what I wanted to do in the future. During my junior year of high school, I made the Women's All State Choir. During one of our rehearsals, the director made all 200 of us spread across the room, close our eyes, and sing. The feeling from that experience was out of this world. Since then, I knew I wanted to give students the same warm, fuzzy feeling that was given to me through music.

I would love to be the teacher that students are excited to learn from every time we meet. I want to teach students not only musical skills, but allows them to express themselves through music.
